Ottoline Dinner Plate, Set of 4

A plate wide enough for a tagine spooned straight from the pot, without the food crowding the border. Rust and burnt sienna scrolls tumble around the rim, the dotted edging and underlining wave running in slate blue beneath them — the colours inverted from the Azure, the contrast sharper, more graphic, and all the more rewarding for it.

Tess Newall developed the motifs in this collection from English garden fireplaces and country houses, the Bloomsbury Group's painted interiors among them, alongside the Italian majolica and French faience collected by artists of that era on their travels. 

Sold as a set of four, each plate is slightly different. Hand-painted in Portugal.
